Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and Bobby Compliancy

 

The Content Management System (CMS) complies with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (WCAG) and is "Bobby AA compliant" as standard, and as such it complies with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. It also adheres to guidelines stated under eGIF (eGovernment Interoperability Framework).
 
The CMS supports metadata schemas defined under eGMS (eGovernment Metadata Standard), allowing administrators to create and extend schemas and the per-page population of metadata.
 
Coding Standards Compliance
 
The CMS is also cross-browser compatible, as well as usable and viewable with older browsers. As standard, it passes W3C code validation for XHTML and CSS, and complies with RNIB standards for screen-reader accessibility.
